Meet Luvy Misra, a culinary virtuoso and visionary entrepreneur whose journey from a Vedic upbringing to the vibrant heart of Sydney’s Newtown encapsulates a fusion of Ayurvedic wisdom, culinary expertise, and a profound spiritual connection. Growing up in a Vedic household, Luvy imbibed the art of Ayurvedic cooking from an early age, where the kitchen became a sacred space and food a conduit for well-being. Her culinary journey unfolded as she delved into formal cooking studies and honed her skills in renowned hotels and five-star restaurants, mastering the art of crafting exquisite dishes.

Her adventures took her across the vast landscapes of Australia, where she lent her culinary prowess to resorts and retreats. It was in these diverse settings that she not only refined her culinary skills but also discovered a profound connection between conscious living, Ayurveda, and community.

The turning point in Luvy’s journey came when she decided to channel her passion and knowledge into something transformative. Settling in Newtown, she envisioned and brought to life “OJAS AYURVEDIC,” a haven that seamlessly blends the vibrancy of Sydney’s atmosphere with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.

Ojas isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a manifestation of Luvy’s purpose — a space where community, conscious eating, and devotion converge. With Ayurveda as the guiding force, Luvy aims to nourish not just bodies but also souls, fostering a sense of unity and well-being.

Luvy’s personal spiritual practice is one of surrender to the divine, a philosophy that transcends her culinary creations and permeates the very essence of Ojas Ayurvedic. Rooted in detachment and discrimination, she navigates the intricacies of entrepreneurship, allowing the wisdom of Ayurveda to guide her decisions and actions.

Beyond the kitchen, Luvy is an avid lover of mystical roots dub music and a believer in Rastafarian culture. These influences infuse a unique, soulful vibe into her establishment, creating an ambiance that resonates with the diverse and eclectic energy of Newtown. For Luvy, running Ojas is not just about serving meals; it’s a journey of creating experiences, fostering community, and promoting a conscious way of life. Her commitment to detachment, discrimination, and surrender ensures that every aspect of her business is infused with authenticity, love, and a deep respect for the traditions that inspire her.
